Frankenstein 3D Effect Acrylic – Color Reactive Boris Karloff Monster Illusion Art Display with Optional RGB LED Light Base

This Color-Reactive Frankenstein 3D Effect Acrylic features a dual-image transformation that shifts depending on the light. Under standard lighting, the iconic Monster stares forward in dramatic cinematic detail. When paired with colored backlighting,  the image transitions to reveal Boris Karloff’s legendary portrayal, shifting the mood and intensity of the piece.

This transformation effect is created using layered acrylic inside a 4” x 6” clear magnetic frame, producing depth and a subtle visual “movement” when illuminated. The side film-strip detailing enhances the vintage cinema aesthetic, making this piece feel like a tribute to classic horror film history.

The acrylic measures approximately 4 inches wide by 6 inches tall and .75 inches thick within the frame. It stands upright on its own or can be upgraded with an optional RGB LED light base for maximum effect.

The optional light base measures approximately 4.65” x 2.36” x 1” and operates using either 3 AAA batteries (not included) or the included USB cord. Different light colors intensify different aspects of the artwork, allowing you to shift between the Monster and the Karloff reveal.

You may also add a small battery tealight for a subtle glow effect.
